* I can't believe how much better I feel, the swelling has reduced. My bra is no longer the right size, I need to go and buy a smaller one. Thank you so much. - J.H. (Breast cancer survivor!) Rosebud South
* The treatment was way better than any treatments I ever had. I do not feel any pain at all! I did not think that was possible. You are awesome! R.M. Frankston South Vic 3199
Remedial treatments are generally non-sensual, they intend to fix some kind of muscular and/or medical condition. The massage strokes used are fairly firm to work through tight areas and knots.
Remedial treatments may include:
GMS (general muscular skeletal screening) assessment
NMT (neuro muscular technique)
MFR (myofascial release)
MET (muscle energy technique)
PRT (positional release technique)
INIT (integrated neuromuscular inhibition technique)
Articulatory technique/joint mobilisation/springing technique
PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular fascilitation)
Trigger point therapy
Palpation of any part of body
However, there will be no manipulation of your body what so ever.
We found that all remedial therapies are more effective when our clients are fully relaxed. As such, unless you object, some form of relaxation therapy will be used beside the remedial treatment you select.
It is to remedy aesthetical/medical condition/s the client wishes to be treated
Deep tissue / Sports massage
It is to remedy muscle cramps and tensions, stretching of muscles may be involved
It is to remedy cellulite build up in the body, primary areas are the stomach, buttocks and thighs, though there are other areas too. There is a possibility you find the treatment to some degree painful as the cellulite is worked on.
Body toning treatment
It is to firm up breasts and to tone torso (chest, breasts, stomach, hips, buttocks, middle, upper and lower back), inside, front and back of thighs. The treatment excludes: arms, lower legs, neck and head.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Detoxification treatment, it is very good for a number of medical conditions like: oedemas, sprains, strains, bruises, it is also excellent for sedentary clients and for after long distance air/car travel. It is the most recognised natural therapy that aids in breast cancer prevention.
Many areas of the Lymphatic system overlap with the erogenous zones of the human body. We want to ensure that clients have a clear understanding of the lymphatic treatments. Whether the treatment is a full body treatment or whether it relates to just one or two specific areas of the body, we need the client's informed consent for the treatment. It is very important that clients pay attention to the diagrams and photos showing the location in the human body of the lymphatic system and its components. The last thing we want is a disappointed client.
We will explain and show diagrams of the lymphatic system, the nodes and vessels. You can also see some of this information here on the website. Some lymphatic nodes are close to the surface of the skin and can be palpated easily, as such they are easy to asses and clear, while others are situated deeper in the body and cannot be directly accessed. We utilise breath technique to help changing internal pressure in the chest, abdomen and pelvis to assist in draining those areas. Correct breathe technique is critical to clear such nodes and ducts. Breath technique will be demonstrated and taught to help clients clear toxins more effectively during the treatment and also that they can practice and use the technique in between treatments.
If a person's lymphatic system is sluggish/underperforming, there will be many signs and symptoms to indicate that. After manual lymphatic drainage treatment the client's lymphatic system should work more effectively. In some cases we may need to encourage/stimulate it to restart and work more effectively then prior to the treatment.
Some signs of sluggish/underperforming lymphatic system are:
Tiredness, lack of good sleep, lack of energy, lack of sex drive, stress, depression, low self-esteem, toxin retention and fluid retention that leads to swollen lymph nodes, swollen arms, swollen leg, swollen ankle, etc.
Reproductive Organ Massage (Fertility treatment)
It is a combination of several therapies including Detoxification, Energy Healing, Aromatherapy, Accupressure and Relaxation therapies.
